For applicants who go Pro
When a task poster enables this in Settings, Pro applicants can send one short message after applying — so important details don’t have to wait. Posters can always message any applicant first, regardless of plan.
When in-app billing is enabled, subscription, cancellation, and refunds follow Google Play or the App Store rules (whichever you used to install the app).
Premium listings (visibility boost)
A Premium boost is an optional fee on a single listing for extra visibility — it is not the same as Pro membership.
When you post a Premium boost, a small fee ($4 per boost) helps your listing stay visible longer and supports CommonDo_It’s development and infrastructure. Pro membership is $8/month and includes 5 boosts at $3 each per billing cycle. Promotional codes may apply during early rollout.
Badges & Founding Member program
On your profile you may see lifetime ranking badges (Founder / Elite), Pro plan indicators, and optional trust verifications — see Community for badge meanings in the app.
1. Registration and ranking
Sign-up uses phone number + OTP verification. Users are assigned a permanent signup order (1, 2, 3, …).
- Positions 1–100: Founder member — fixed list.
- Positions 101–500: Elite member — fixed list.
The ranking list is fixed. Founder and Elite profile badges are lifetime: they remain tied to your account even if you uninstall the app.
2. Benefits
Founder members (1–100)
- 12 months of complimentary Pro membership.
- For six consecutive months, up to two (2) complimentary Premium listings per calendar month (maximum twelve (12) total over that period; never more than two in any single month).
- Permanent Founder badge on your profile.
Elite members (101–500)
- 6 months of complimentary Pro membership.
- The same six-month complimentary Premium listing rule: up to two per month, twelve maximum total.
- Permanent Elite badge on your profile.
Whether you are Founder or Elite, the complimentary Premium listing benefit runs for six months only, with the two-per-month cap. A Founder’s longer complimentary Pro period does not extend the complimentary Premium listing window beyond those six months.
3. Complimentary Pro timer — uninstall and reinstall
Complimentary Pro time and complimentary Premium listing entitlements are not the same as lifetime badges.
- When you uninstall the app, your complimentary Pro countdown pauses for the first seven (7) days (the timer does not advance during that window).
- If you reinstall within 7 days, you do not lose that paused time for the gap — your remaining complimentary Pro continues under the normal rules.
- If you reinstall after more than 7 days, elapsed time is measured from the date you uninstalled. Your remaining complimentary Pro will be reduced accordingly. Example: you uninstall on 14 February and reinstall on 14 April — roughly two months of your complimentary Pro period will have elapsed while you were away.
- If your complimentary Pro period has fully expired before you return, you keep your Founder or Elite badge, but you have no remaining complimentary Pro or Premium listing entitlements from this program.
Your complimentary Premium listing credits (two per month for six months) follow the schedule and caps in Section 2 for your eligible months; the two-per-month rule still applies within that six-month window.
4. +3 months complimentary Pro extension (first 500 signups)
The first 500 registered users (Founders and Elite members together — the same cohort; no separate tier here) may earn an additional 3 months of complimentary Pro by satisfying both requirements:
- Referral volume: at least 10 new users who complete first-time registration using your personal referral code.
- Activity requirement: of those 10, at least 4 must within their first 90 days either apply to at least one task or publish at least one listing.
5. Referral system
- Each member receives a unique code:
COMM+ number (example:COMM187). - Shareable link format:
https://commondoit.com/invite/COMM187(example — replace with your code). - When someone opens your invite link, the code can be prefilled at sign-up.
- A My Referrals screen in the app shows progress (invites, activations, and related stats).
